In an effort to help the many victims of hurricanes Helene and Milton in our west central Florida communities, I will be donating all the proceeds from the sale of my new novel, I Am Everett, to a relief fund through the Rotary Club of Holiday, Florida. I will donate my royalties between now and the end of the year.
I will post the Kindle Direct Report showing the amount of royalties earned on this page once a month so that we can all track our progress in raising money for this cause.
The sale of each paperback will contribute $5.24. For each Kindle version of the book $4.12 will be generated. The retail price for the paperback is $14.99 and $5.99 for the Kindle version.
Even if you don't typically read books, they make a great gift and Christmas is just around the corner. Think of this as an investment in helping people who truly need a hand. Unless you've seen the destruction first hand, you can't imaging how disastrous this natural calamity has been for so many people.
In order for us to make this fund raising effort count, we need to get all our friends to be aware of this opportunity to help others. You know how these things work - you tell your circle of friends about it and ask them to tell their friends. If it catches on and people decide to help, the amount we raise can be substantial.
